Maybe too latte, but still… I´m first time here, it´s actually strange coincidence that I´ve seen this message… This site is not the best place to ask, better to use facebook or ofic. site…
I thing it´s great that someone is coming from UK to see Ewa U was born there? Honestly, if it´s true, I´m little shocked… Where are you exactly from? I´m going to England to see my fave band so I fully understand…
But to the point… Yeah, show was really moved from Semillaso to bigger arena Vodova. (Heh, this moving is something like Ewa´s usual standart). It´s not a problem to find it, it´s really famous place in Brno. You´ll come by bus? Then take tram n. 12 or 13 – direction Kralovo Pole (cca 18 minutes) and then walk… It´s really easy
Id you need help or assistance, go ahead and contact me (trifi@email.cz). It would be nice to meet Ewa´s fan from UK
Many thanks. I think i’m ok now. At the time is was difficult to get some official conformation. As i don’t speak Czech it is very difficult sometimes to get accurate information.
I’m from Northern Ireland and used to run http://www.ewafarna.co.uk
Unfortunately i had to close the site due to lack of funds a few weeks ago.
This is the 2nd time i have been to see Ewa. First time was in Praha in December 2009. I discoverd Ewa about 4 years ago and have been a big fan ever since.
My hotel isn’t all that far from the venue (about 2km) so i might walk there. I find the trams really confusing????
Thanks again
You´re welcome I´m glad it helped. Wow, Northern Ireland… I suppose it won’t be easy journey so I wish good luck and enjoyable time in Brno
Anyway, I think it´s very rare that you´re such a fun of somebody who doesn´t sing in your native language, can I ask you how exactly did you discovered her and became a fan? Are czech songs problem for you?
I have seen really loooot of Ewa´s gigs including Prague/december 09, it was good but but certainly not the best show. Have you talked with Ewa there?
Oh no, trams are not cunfusing, it´s just a little bit unusual But the one importaint thing for you is to get off on the stop „Červínkova“ and then it´s few meters (just go with the crowd … ) Or just make a walk from your hotel like you wrote…
Just getting packed now! Flight is early tomorrow morning. Horrible trying to get to Brno from Belfast. I have to fly to London first and then get a flight direct to Brno from there. It cost a small fortune! Hoping to go on a day trip to either Vienna or Bratislava on Saturday.
I first found Ewa when a member of a totally unrelated Forum posted the ‘Dmuchawce, Latawce, Wiatr’ video. I thought it was the most beautiful song i had ever heard (and still do). Some Youtubing later and i was hooked.
Language barrier doesn’t matter to me. I can sing along in Czech and Polish and don’t understand a word of either language. I also like Olga Lounova and Katka Knechtova.
If you see me come and say hello! I’ll have a large Union Flag!!
can someone urgently confirm that the venue has changed???
I’m travelling from the UK and need confirmation asap.#
